As we mentioned, there are several ways to watch the games. Let’s take a look at some of them.

Sling TV – American website that gives you access to access to the NBC, ESPN, Fox, BeIN Sports, and more without a cable or satellite subscription. The service requires a subscription to watch. To sign up and enjoy, you need to be in the US or be connected to a US server. It is a good choice to watch from anywhere. If you haven’t tried it yet then you can sign up for a 7 day free trial.

Fubo TV – Rival to Sling TV. Channels include NBC, Fox, USA, BeIN Sports, NBA TV, GOLF, and quite a few more. This service is also available in Canada with more channels and a different price.

iTV Player (UK) – Free streaming for the games, but you must be in the UK.

BBC iPlayer (UK) – Another free website to stream the matches, but not available outside the UK.

That is just a few of the big ones. Of course, there are others we have not mentioned.

The origin of Rugby dates back to an incident in a game that occurred in 1823 at the Rugby School in Warwickshire, England. In 1845, the first Rugby rules were written, followed by an update in 1848 to Cambridge rules. Though the Rugby Football Union was founded in 1871, it was not until 1895 that a separate Rugby League was formed.

The game is played with 15 players on each side. There are also 7 or 8 substitutes allowed. Since Rugby resembles football (soccer for Americans), the players do not wear much safety equipment. That allows them to stay agile and makes the action that much more exciting.

It should come as no surprise that one of the most popular American sports, (American Football) has its roots in Rugby. The American version has been changed and quite a bit of safety equipment has been introduced. The game is not as fast as Rugby, but the ball shape is the same and there are still a few other similarities.

If you or your friends enjoy Rugby, please tell them about this post so they can watch as well. You can also follow us on Twitter @VPNFan for more guides and VPN deals.
