The PGA Regions Traditions Tournament was first staged in 1989. The PGA Tour recognizes it as one of the five major golf tournaments on the senior tour. However, it is not recognized by the European Tour as a major. It is the only senior major where the winner does not earn an exemption into the PGA Tour or European Tour event. This is the tournament’s fourth time at Greystone. However, it has been a number of other locations besides the most current one. Those are:
- Golf Club at Desert Mountain – Scottsdale, Arizona
- Superstition Mountain G&CC – Superstition, Arizona
- The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club – Aloha, Oregon
- Crosswater Club – Sunriver, Oregon
- Shoal Creek G&CC – Shoal Creek, Alabama
Let’s take a look at this year’s players in the traditions tournament.
- Miguel Angel Jimenez
- Fred Couples

- Retief Goosen
- Vijay Singh
- Bernhard Langer
- Colin Montgomerie

As you can see here, there are a number of well-known golfers playing. As we mentioned, it is available on the GOLF channel. If you have a cable or satellite subscription, you would connect to a VPN in the US and enter your credentials on the website. For those that do not have access to those, the GOLF Channel is available on external streaming service such as Fubo.tv. Just be sure to use a VPN to sign up for an account there, too, if you are outside the US. When you are ready to watch the event, just connect to the same server and you are all set.
