Since 1977, the TPC Sawgrass Golf Course has hosted the PGA Players Championship. Of course, that trend continues this year. While this is not an official tournament, the community considers this one to be the 5th major because of the prestige it carries. Winners receive the most money of any tournament, and 80 points towards their world ranking.

This year promises to be interesting for some of the top players in the game. With golf, all players are entitled to bad tournaments from time to time. That was certainly the case with some of the favorites to win the tournament. There are always a number of dominant players that will make a good showing.

It will be interesting to see what players come out on top in this tournament, for sure. Will Justin Thomas be able to repeat the success he had last year at TPC Sawgrass? Will we possibly see new faces or old favorites? Indeed, we can ask many questions in the sport of Golf at the moment.

If you are planning on watching this championship tournament, and you live in the United States, you can view the matches on Golf network and NBC. Unless of course, you wanted to use one for privacy reasons. However, if you plan to be traveling outside the USA or live abroad, then a VPN can help you watch the tournament from anywhere in the world. We will explain to you how this works. What you would do is connect to a VPN server in the United States and get assigned a US IP address. From there, you may enjoy content, just as if you were located in the USA. The same is true for sites like Pandora and Hulu.

I don’t want to confuse anyone.  There are still broadcasts including NBC that will require a cable or satellite log in.  For those with a subscription, you can simply connect to a VPN in the US and fire up Peacock to watch the tournament.  Otherwise, I suggest you connect to a US VPN server and stream the PGA Players Championship live from the pgatour.com website.  They will be live streaming all four rounds of the tournament.

Enjoy all the excitement during the 2022 PGA Players Championship.  Please share this post with your friends so they can enjoy the tournament at TPC Sawgrass and future PGA events from anywhere in the world with a VPN. Follow us @VPNFan for the latest guides and deals.
