NetballThe Netball World Cup is a premier competition based on the early versions of basketball. In 2019, the 15th staging of the tournament will be played in Liverpool. It begins on July 12th and finishes up on July 21st. As we mentioned this is the 15th time the tournament has been played. It is played every 4 years and typically consists of 16 teams. Five teams automatically qualify based on their position in the INF World Rankings, and England qualifies as the host country. There are 5 different regions represented this year. The remaining 10 slots of the tournament are allocated to 2 in each region.

  • Europe – Scotland and Northern Ireland
  • Oceania – Fiji and Samoa
  • Africa – Uganda and Zimbabwe
  • Americas – Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados
  • Asia – Sri Lanka and Singapore

Those are the 16 teams of the tournament. If you want to cheer on your favorite teams, you can watch the matches on a few different providers. Of course, that depends on which coverage you want to watch. They are:

  • New Zealand – Sky Sport
  • United Kingdom – Sky Sports & BBC
  • USA – NBC

As you can see, viewers in the United States can watch the games on NBC. However, you will need a satellite, cable, or streaming subscription.
