The Hungarian Grand Prix is a Formula 1 race that was started in Budapest in 1936. This year, the race is the 13th one of the season and scheduled to be run on Sunday, July 31th, 2022. As the competition during the season keeps heating up, the races can only get more exciting. You will see what we mean when you tune in. Be sure you don’t miss a moment of all the action. You can stream the Hungarian Grand Prix from anywhere with a VPN.

If you follow Formula One at all, you know the competition will be stiff in this race. Sebastian Vettel, the defending course champion, will surely have a problem this year defending his title. One of the drivers that will cause him issues is Lewis Hamilton. Though Hamilton did not land on the podium last year, he holds the track record for the most wins (5). Kimi Räikkönen poses another threat to Vettel. He was very close to Vettel’s finish last year and is known as the Iceman.
The Hungarian Grand Prix takes place on the Hungaroring. This track is 2.722 miles (4.381 km) in length and has 14 turns. It is 70 laps long, so it is a relatively fast track. It also has room to host more than 200,000 race fans. For those that will be in Budapest during the event, expect to pay anywhere from $109 USD for general admission on Sunday, to $5280 for the 3-day Paddock Club Package. Most of us, however, will have to watch it on TV.
If you are in the USA, the race will be on ESPN at 15:10 local time on July 19th. If you want to watch online, because ESPN is a premium channel, you would need either a valid cable or satellite subscription. For those that are in the UK or plan to use a VPN, Channel 4 has live TV coverage and the BBC radio coverage of the entire weekend, beginning on July 17th.

If you already have access to one of the streaming channels above then you’re all set. Just remember to use a VPN if you plan to be outside the country on the day of the race. Channel 4 is my favorite channel to watch Formula 1 races on because the coverage is great. They are streaming the F1 races this year and the coverage is very good.
The key to streaming any live event is gaining access to the right channel or service. That is the case with this race. Channel 4 does a splendid job on these races. However, the company will block you if you are outside of the UK. You will need a good VPN to get around any geographic restrictions. You can always check other sources for options.
