How to Delete Safari from Mac and iOS Devices

How to Delete Safari on Mac OSX

There are a few different ways you can do about doing this. You can either disable the System Integrity Protection feature and delete it that way, or you can use a 3rd party app that will allow you to do that. If you decide to disable the SIP feature, keep in mind that could change the functionality of the operating system. Therefore, you will want to use a 3rd party cleaner. Once you install one, follow the steps and remove it.

Safari on iOS

While you can’t delete Safari from iOS, you can disable it from the “Settings” icon. To do this, follow these steps.

  1. Begin by going to “Settings” from your iOS Home screen.
  2. From this point, tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Restrictions” tso you can turn it on and off.
  4. After you enter your 4 digit passcode, you will be able to further access the “Restrictions” option.
  5. In the “Allow” section, tap on Safari to Disable.
  6. Once done, you won’t see Safari any more.
