AFCON Groups Stage Teams and Early Matches
The Africa Cup of Nations will consists of 24 teams in 6 groups. The top two teams in each group will advance to the round of 16 along with the four best third place finishers. The point system used is 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and nothing for a loss.
