Of course, the world of sports is changed in 2020. That is because of the unprecedented Novel Coronavirus, also known as Covid-19. Because of that, the NBA is holding its first “HORSE” tournament in history. HORSE is a basketball shooting competition that is held between players. It will be held over the course of several days, beginning on Sunday, April 12th at 7 PM until 9 PM and replayed from 9-11 PM EST. The championship game will finish up on Thursday, April 16th, ending at 11 PM. The tournament will be held on ESPN. If you are in the US, you will have access to it. In this tournament, dunking is prohibited. Players must describe each shot attempt, specifying the type of score they intend to make before taking a shot. The first player in each game to accumulate the letters “H-O-R-S-E” (you get a letter for every missed shot) after failing to match five shots is eliminated. Again, you can only watch this if you have access to ESPN.
