Formula 1 racing is European auto racing that began in the 1920s. Since then, the races have seen various changes over the years. This year, the F1 season starts on 5 March in Bahrain, and ends on 26 November in Abu Dhabi. There are many questions that linger for the season, and you can bet 2023 will be as exciting as previous years. There are several options in watching race coverage, and you can watch from anywhere with a VPN. Here are some of our favorite VPNs for watching the races.

How to Use a VPN to Watch Formula One Races
Go ahead and sign up for one of the VPNs in our list. We will be using ExpressVPN for this guide since that’s the VPN we rely on for sports. ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee so you have plenty of time to test the service. Also, the MediaStreamer feature is included. It can be quite helpful to unblock live sports without slowing down your Internet connection.
- After you have an ExpressVPN account, you will want to download the latest version of their VPN software. They have developed custom apps for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. You can connect through a set top box or game console using the MediaStreamer feature.
- Next, launch the app and select a server in the UK. This will help you gain access to Channel 4 coverage through BBC iPlayer. ExpressVPN offers multiple server locations in and around London. They manage a network of servers in 94 countries so they have you covered for just about any event around the world.
- Enjoy the Formula One races and cheer on your favorite team.
And it is just that simple to do. Watching the race on BBC Sports is easy, using this method. If you are from the US and have access to a login, you may login to ESPN Plus to watch coverage of the 2023 Formula One races.
As you can see, VPN services open gateways to content that would normally be geo-blocked. In addition to watching the races, if you live outside the United States, the service can help you access popular US services like Hulu, and Pandora. Of course, you will need an account for things like Hulu, but a VPN grant you access to the service. The same could be said about any location.
Formula One Driver Highlights
For the last several years, the British racer, Lewis Hamilton, was the dominant force in Formula 1 Racing. However, that all changed last season when Lewis ended up 6th in the final standing, two spots below his Mercedes teammate George Russel. Again, in years past the Mercedes team was leading the way. That also changed last season as Verstappen took the Driver’s Championship and Red Bull Racing is now the team to beat. Will they hold on again this year or can Ferrari or Mercedes make a run for the Constructor Championship.
Typically, Hamilton had been the one to win races with his more tactile feel on racing. That was not the case with George Russell joining the team. Hamilton was unable to dominate the field. Instead Verstappen claimed his second championship in a row, this time with a huge buffer in points over Charles Leclerc. Will someone else step up to challenge the Dutch racer? Might Leclerc take over the crown held by Max? Will Verstappen earn the F1 championship for a third time in a row? These questions and more will all be answered this season. Here is a list of the races and dates. Note that the 2023 race schedule could be modified at any time due to the COVID-19 pandemic but we hope not.
