The Shinnecock Hills Golf Club was established in 1891. This course is noted as the oldest formal organized golf club in the US and the first one to admit women. Through time, it has held the tournament 4 times. However, this year marks number 5 and number 6 comes in 2026.
Since its establishment, four gentlemen have designed the course. In 1937, William Flynn designed the most recent version. Like many courses of the time, Shinnecock is a links-style course. The founders of the club wanted a golf course near New York City. Because of that, they chose the sandhills adjoining the Long Island Railroad just east of the Shinnecock Canal.
Here is a list of viewing times and channels

There is also a simulcast on Fox Sports Go from 11:00 EDT to 7:00 pm EDT on June 14-15, and 12:00 pm EDT to 7:00 pm EDT on June 16 – 17. If you plan on traveling outside of the US during those 4 days, I would suggest using a VPN. Since Fox’s access is based on IP address, you may be blocked without one, even on Fox Sports Go. You will need a cable or satellite login to watch Fox Sports Go. You can also watch streaming coverage of the US Open on the USGA.org website. It won’t require a login but will likely be limited to US IP addresses so connect to a VPN server in the US.
