Let’s talk a bit about how to watch this event. As we mentioned, you would normally need to be in the US. If you want to watch the early prelims, they are available on “UFC Fight Pass”. To watch the prelims, you would need to watch on ESPN. To watch the main card, they give you the option to watch the event and a year of service for $79.99 USD. The event itself is $59.99 USD.

Now, here is a look at the fighters on the main card.

  • Cejudo vs. Moraes – Bantamweight Title
  • Shevchenko vs. Eye – Women’s Flyweight Title
  • Ferguson vs. Cerrone – Lightweight
  • Rivera vs. Yan – Bantamweight
  • Tuivasa vs. Ivanov – Heavyweight

The main title fight should be a good match. As usual, there is quite a bit of trash talking on both sides of the card. Marlon Moraes has the nickname of “magic” and Henry Cejudo has the nickname of “the messenger”. During media day, Cejudo definitely had a clear message as he arrived on media day in his crown. He then pulled out a magician hat and props to signify his victories over TJ Dillashaw and Demetrious Jonson.

He pulled out Mickey Mouse to represent Demetrious. He then pulled out a snake which represented TJ. Lastly, he pulled out a rabbit which represented Marlon Moraes and kicked it. That was his “magic trick”. While the antics were cringy, the message was clear to Moraes. Cejudo stated “I don’t believe in magic. It is all a bunch of illusions. Show me Saturday night”. As you may expect, that led to an intense staredown between the two fighters.

While Moraes has usually been reserved in his professional career, the Brazillian has been more vocal than usual. He showed clear disdain for Cejudo. The champ believes he is just showing his true colors.

Enjoy all the excitement of UFC 238.  Please share this post with your friends so they can enjoy all the action from anywhere with a VPN.
