When the field ran this race in 2016, Lewis Hamilton took the checkered flag to beat out his teammate, Nico Rosberg. Now, the defending champion will have to battle another German driver. No matter which driver wins, they will have their work cut out for them. Four of the top competitors to look for in this race are Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, and Valtteri Bottas. There are others, but there is a good chance one of them will win.

The Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg racing circuit opened on May 29th, 1932. It has a length of 2.842 miles (4.574 km). There are 17 turns, and a Finnish driver named Kimi Räikkönen (known as the Iceman) set the lap record of 1:13.780 in 2004. His average lap speed was a staggering 138.67 MPH (223.2 KPH). That means this course is fast. You are sure to find some great matchups in this race.Tune in to see if anyone can break the lap record.
